ABOUT US – MOSAICC
MOSAICC (Mobilising Outreach, Solidarity, Advocating Inclusive, Connected Communities) is a grassroots hub for activism, education, and community empowerment. Based in Derby, we are committed to challenging injustice, amplifying marginalised voices, and fostering collective action for social change.
We believe in solidarity, not charity. Our work is rooted in intersectional justice, ensuring that activism is inclusive, accessible, and transformative. Through mutual aid, advocacy, creative expression, and movement-building, we create spaces where people can learn, heal, and organise.
What We Do
Empowerment & Education – Workshops, training, and resources on activism, anti-racism, feminism, and social justice.
Social Justice Library & Women’s Archive – Preserving and sharing the stories and struggles of marginalised communities.
Creative & Cultural Activism – Film screenings, exhibitions, and arts-based activism to reclaim narratives and inspire change.
Mutual Aid & Community Solidarity – Clothing and food giveaways, pop-up shops, and crisis support to help people thrive, not just survive.
Movement Building & Advocacy – Campaigns, networking, and grassroots organising for systemic change.

At MOSAICC, we believe in a world where intersectionality isn’t an afterthought—it is the foundation of meaningful change. Our vision is to create a space where marginalised voices are amplified, where collaboration thrives across movements, and where justice, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
We are committed to dismantling barriers, fostering solidarity, and ensuring that communities who have long been silenced, overlooked, or excluded are placed at the centre of solutions. Our approach is rooted in action, not just conversation. We seek to challenge the status quo, create alternative spaces of empowerment, and build sustainable movements that reflect the full spectrum of lived experiences.
MOSAICC is about mobilising people, outreaching to those beyond our immediate networks, fostering self-help, driving advocacy, and championing intersectional creativity and collaboration. We are not here to replace but to expand, not to separate but to bring together, not to dilute but to strengthen the fight for justice in all its forms.

Mobilising - taking action and empowering to drive change. Contributing tools, knowledge, and support to challenge injustice and build collective power.
Outreach - engaging directly with communities, especially all those who feel and are excluded or marginalised. It prioritises relationship-building, accessibility, and amplifying unheard voices.
Solidarity - standing together in shared struggles, recognising that justice for one is justice for all. Going beyond support to active participation in dismantling systemic oppression.
Advocating - amplifying voices and pushing for systemic change. It ensures that the marginalised are
heard, represented, and supported through policy, activism, and awareness-raising.
Inclusive - creating spaces where all can fully participate,
not just be represented. It requires challenging barriers and centring the most marginalised in decision-making.
Connected - building strong, sustainable relationships that bridge different movements and communities. fostering collaboration, shared learning, and long-term resilience.
Communities - are the foundation of social change, built on collective care, support, and empowerment. Strong communities create solutions, challenge injustice, and sustain movements for justice.
